Mounting Clip, for Clip Rail Picture Hanging Track (Installation Fitting)

Installation fitting for the clip rail gallery systems picture hanging tracking. The mounting clips are screwed directly into a solid brick or drywall plasterboard wall; the aluminium picture rail is then placed over them and 'clipped' downwards, securing the clip rail track length to the wall. Standard nylon mounting clips are ideal when hanging the most common of canvases, but heavy duty brass mounting clips are recommended when hanging large heavy framed artwork. N.B. For a solid rail installation, standard nylon clips require 4 per meter, but heavy duty brass clips require only 3 per meter.

Mounting clip / clip rail Installation:

• Mark points along the wall where you require the tracking
  N.B. These are positions for the mounting-clips (nylon every 20 cm, brass every 30 cm)
• Drill holes on these points, and insert wall plugs into them
• Insert a screw into a mounting clip (the flat side of the clip will be against the wall), and screw it to the wall
• Repeat the above for each hole drilled
• Take your length of picture rail, place the top-edge of the rails rear slot over the mounting-clips, and push downwards
• The picture rail will now 'click' onto the clips
