Hanging Rod Hook 40kg is a heavy-duty picture hanger designed to be attached to 4mm steel hanging rods - you can hang the heaviest of framed pictures from a j rail, c rail & p rail gallery system. How it works: slide the hook onto the bottom of the rod, moving it upwards into position. Thanks to its steel spring, the hook is fixed into position and can't be moved! Lifting the front of the hook upwards releases the spring's locking design! A single hanging rod hook has a load capacity of 40kg (89 lbs) - to hang heavier frames, introduce additional hanging rods & hooks to support the same picture frame! Nb. When hanging landscape paintings, we recommend using at least (2) hanging rods (left & right side) to maintain composure and keep the painting level, especially over long periods!
