Hanging rod hooks are a heavy duty picture hanger, designed to be attached to 4mm steel hanging rods; that enable you to hang hang extremely heavy pictures from a j rail, c rail & p rail gallery system track. Simply slide the hook upwards from the bottom of the rod into position. The hook can't be pulled downwards unless you left the front of the hook up, which releases the locking spring. This hanging rod hook has the highest weight capacity on the market. An individual hooks weight capacity is 80kg (176lbs), but the hanging potential can be doubled by introducing additional hanging rods with hooks to your picture! N.B. When hanging wide paintings such as landscapes, we always recommend using 2 rods (either side / left & right) to support & keep the painting hanging level, especially over time!
