To hang your framed or unframed artwork, wooden dado rails use moulding hooks with cords, cables or chains. And for your heavy metal frames or mirror panes, steel moulding hanging rods can be used (they have a weight capacity in access of 80kg per rod!). The victorian picture rail itself, is made from a high quality timber, and is supplied in it's natural wood grain finish. Tip: Wooden mouldings can be easily painted using any regular emulsion paint, recommended to be done while painting the wall!
