Moulding Captain Hook & Perlon Kit

Moulding Captain Hook & Perlon cord kit combines the traditional moulding hook with modern picture hanging cord & adjustable hook. The moulding hook anchors from your wooden picture rail. These moulding hooks have a hole. The clear transparent nylon wire (Perlon Cord) has a metal barrel on one end for threading through this hole (instead of hanging with a traditional loop). The Captain Hook threads onto the hanging cord and allows you to adjust the height of your picture. Its auto-locking mechanism makes hanging quantities of picture frames very easy.

Using 2 Moulding Captain Hook & Perlon Kits, you can hang a picture frame or mirror up to 15kg / 30lbs (Apply a cord to each side of your picture frame, left & right). For smaller pieces up to 10kg / 20lbs, a single kit in the middle of the picture frame is sufficient.

N.B. This picture hanging kit will work with most Victorian Wooden Rails, Dado Rails, even screens & partitions.
