• Security Zipper Hooks have a spring-loaded security latch that prevents any picture's d-rings or string/rope from being removed from the hook & hanging cable!

How to Hang Pictures from Dado / Victorian Wooden Picture Rail:

1. Separate all the pieces of your ready-to-use picture hanger kit.
2. Place the white moulding hook on your Dado wooden picture rail (our moulding hooks are compatible with most wood rail profiles!) 
3. Suspend the cable - thread the naked end of the white-coated steel cable wire into the hole of the white moulding hook (the hole is behind the front bend that makes the anchor point)
4. Pull the cable through the hole until the "barrel-end" nestles behind the front bend anchor point - the cable should hang freely.
5. Attach the Security Zipper Hook - With the cable in hand, thread the naked end into the top of the zipper hook (if done correctly, the spring-locking mechanism should allow this action without pressing the side-release button!)
6. Hang your picture from the Zipper Hook - Providing your picture has d-rings or picture cord/rope mounted on the back, pass them over the spring latch and hook them onto the hook's anchor point (push the latch downwards to remove the picture!)
7. Adjusting the height/position of your painting - Pressing the side-release button disengages the auto spring-locking function, allowing you to slide the hook up & down the cable! (Simply releasing the button re-locks the Zipper Hook's position!)
8. IMPORTANT: Make sure your painting is supported when pressing the hook's side-release button so it doesn't fall to the floor!
